I guess there is no chance to install this, the Polo has none folding mirrors and that`s why it would never work.

Surely??
I know only the Scoda Oktavia mirrors that have these function i might to remember, on the Polo i`ve never seen electrical folding mirrors. To fold them with hand is normal, but to do it electrical you need mirrors which have a small electrical engine that turns the mirror, and i never heard that the polo has such mirrors. This modul is only for such mirrors as description shows too for controling.
Hope you understand what i mean.

Wow that look's interesting!
I know it's not by the main topic, but could you tell us sime details of this mirror?
Where is the engine mounted?
Is a nother control modul needed?
Where is the electrical wiring connected to the Polo-Net?

It's for Japanese models.
As I remeber there were some major differences in the wiring harness and the door control units for these mirrors

Will be hard to find someone who can help, cause those folding mirrors are mainly unknwon here, never seen someone before trying to use them.
The other point will be that no one could tell you how it might work cause no one owns these mirrors here, pretty hard to find someone who can teach you how the wiring should have been done!

Okay you want to connect the grey cable of the module for the mirrors to fold with the lockingsystem of your car.
The lockingcontrollunit has a 23pin plug. pin 1 and pin 22 of that plug are the important ones for this topic (purple/green and purple/yellow).
Now, two different methodes are possible, because i dont know the exact technique the controllunit uses to activate the lockingmotors inside your door.
the first possibility: the two wires have got a changing polarity, so the lockingmotor can turn both ways. Then, take two diodes and connect them with their cathode sides to each other. if done, you need to connect every cable to one anode side. the grey cable will be connected to the common cathodes.
the second, but more unlikely possibility is that the motor is turned on for a short period of time with a fixed plolarity. in this case, you need to connect the grey cable to the switched 12V cable. Just test it with your multimeter.
