Hello everyone, as I am French, I prefer to speak English (it's universal!), here's a little description of my current audio setup.
Currently, there is a post CD/MP3/USB/Bluetooth Pioneer FH-80BT with a Phase Linear amp under the driver seat that powers a subwoofer JL AUDIO 6W3V3 16.5 centimeters in diameter (150 Wrms)

Obviously, the diameter of the subwoofer is not worth a 30 cm, but the quality is indeed the appointment, as long as the volume of the chamber is observed (5 liters in volume closed) and the amp is right behind quality.
Moreover, the fact of using fiberglass is not bad, as long as it is a thick (3 layers in my case) and that the sub is placed on a plank of MDF (16 mm d 'thick).
What I want is quality hi-fi, not the big "boom boom!

On the use of fiberglass, as I said above, as long as the thickness is large (at least 3 layers), there is no reason not to get good results.
I am very satisfied with this little sub, although somewhat limited below (because the volume of closed box), he defends himself very well on dry and punchy bass.
It might surprise a few!
Sorry, actually, I did not specify the location of the amp. It is located under the driver's seat, because of its small size.

The result of my installation as being very pleased with this subwoofer, I got into his head to find a second. It was done in December when I managed to buy 2 other hand subwoofer identical to the first!!
So, will the current subwoofer in the car of my girlfriend and I will create a second sealed enclosure, opposite the first :






I also buy a second amplifier to amplify the 2 little "beasts" !
An Alpine PDX 150.2 amp which is also housed under the passenger seat :


To the front of the car, the speakers of origin will be replaced by a DLS set UP6i who has just been purchased. I am waiting to be approved to continue following my installation.

The DLS set UP6i is mine !!!

Hello everybody, some news of my audio system.
I created calles in medium to put the woofer of component kit DLS, I made a small sounddeadening of front doors.
Then I built a second box for 2nd JL AUDIO subwoofer, powered with his twin brother by the Alpine PDX 150.2 which is under the passenger seat with phase linear amp.

Hello everyone, some new sound system. I dropped the amount of windshield fiberglass because AC was distorted and I could not surrender them to their places of origin, time, direction trash!!


So I copied the mounting tweeters and put putty armed for a rounded shape, then sanding:
