Muffler VW racing

I am French and I would like to buy a muffler VW racing. My concession never posed this type of muffler, one say to me that it is necessary that they cut out the muffler in length so that it did not depasse back and to make a cutting of the avoid-shock, could you say to me how much of hour is necessary for the installation of this type of muffler, with cuttings?
