Hello!
I have Polo 9n 145Ps (chipped) and now i have 17"(205-40)..i was thinking of putting 18" rims next summer but i am affraid that acceleration will be slow and car wouldn't be so agile...could some user with 18" tell if there is a big differnce in driving than on 14" original rims :)...215 width of tyre is quite a a lot for thhis "small" car :-?

Well there are some calculators for this question. Search for VMAX Calculator, addizional to your wheel/rim data you need to enter your gearbox ratios for each gear, should give you some hint, don“t trust the values too much :weih:

There will be no relevant difference in acceleration in comparison to your 17" rims. The difference between 14"/165 and 17/18" is of course noticable. But one inch will not make you cry ;)
