Hi,

Im spanish and i have a polo 9N i love my car and in general all the german cars.. I dont speak german and my english is not very high, so i ll try to explain my doubt easily, i want to remove the plastic thing over the engine that have the emblem of vw and the letters of your kind of engine (TDI in my case)how the hell i do that?. I tried but is hard, does it have any screw? I wish u could put some pictures.. Thank u very much.. Greetings from Spain.

you can find some pictures regarding your problem in this document, which is about installing an alternative air-filter. Maybe it can be useful for you, when you use some translation-website for the page. Hopefully, it gives you some hints.

As far as I know there is not much to do to successfully remove the cover, than just pull it off and pay attention to some connections to the engine itself.

Maybe another user has some instructions for you, too...

Naja, spanisch ist zwar nicht gleich portugiesisch... aber das könnte sie wohl noch.

Erstell doch einen portugiesischen-Mirror...

Das dachte ich mir auch... ich versteh ja auch Ossi-Deutsch, Bayerisch, Österreichisch und sogar ein wenig Schweizerdeutsch

... und plattdeutsch.
Ihr Cousin aus Portugal könnte man auch mal heiß machen. Der ist total Quad und Internetbegeistert... der würde bestimmt auch ein Forum für die Südländer verwalten.

thank u very much to all, ill try to take off that cover on my 9N 1.4 tdi. Your web is very cool and becouse of this site i have very things in my mind to personalize my 9N like Skoda Fabia RS Türpins, TT Pedalkappen.... my little polo has little things like tinted windows, gt gearknob, 6x9 speakers from pioneer. With time and money u will see... Keep being this way guys!
