Hehe, the format is still not correct for Germany, but nice idea

You would be stopped really soon by german police as the signs of permission (Zulassung

) are missing - so don't try when you decide to join us on a meeting one day
Tell me, isn't Scotland member of the EU

Most of the european countries have the blue banner with the stars on their plates - is there any reason the scottish don't? And why is the rear one yellow? Tradition or just senseless?

In the UK we have to Have a White Front and Yellow Rear.
Pressed alloy plates are not legal in the UK, and we use a different font. We can use a GB border on UK plates. If you look at the pictures at the top you see standard UK plates. Lots of UK Dubs run German Plates, think its suits the German Origins Superbly.
I used to have a MK2 Golf with a WHite rear plate, the Police were not so happy about that

Why do you have to have a white front and a yellow rear? What´s the reason?
Lol, I remember sth talking about the colour of the plates... When I was in England for the first time, I didn´t realize that the front plate was white, and the rear yellow... I just thought you could use either yellow plates (front and rear) or white plates (front and rear), depending on the car. So I watched loads of cars passing by, asking myself why some have yellow plates and some white ones

In the UK we have to Have a White Front and Yellow Rear.
Is there any official reason for this? Some kind of "make our country more colourful"?
The Netherlands for example use yellow plates, but with the EU-banner. And they have yellow front AND rear

Its the Law, it's been like that since the 70's. Prior to that UK cars had black plates with silver letters.
It confuses people, i've had some German Tourists come and speak German to me because they thought i was German

Hello!
Nice car, a Polo is a good decision anyway, you know?
I hope you've got some questions, for me this would be a good
opportunity to help and to practise some english.
Did you made up plans about what to change on your GTI?
