Hallo.

Bin neu hier, mein erster topic. Kann ich deutsch lesen / schreiben. Aber am besten bin ich Englisch. :)

Wollte mal fragen ob es in ordnung ist das meine reifen in dem radkasten kratzt manchmal? (Siehe bilder.) Kratzt nur am 2-3 stellen aber ich habe angst das die reifen explodieren wird?! :|

Habe 215/35/18 reifen und 15mm restgewinde vorne. Kratzt auch nur vorne manchmal am bodenwellen. (Und es kratzt an beide VAs).

Kann mir jemand tipps oder info geben? Danke!!

That´s totally normal at this height of your car.

Get rid of these screws, cut out this small hill where you have to screw it on your metall and try to bend it up a little bit with a heat dryer....
also you have to bend your metal part(where it normally hold your plastik) totally to the inside

You could also use some stuff called "filz" in germany which you could stick at this hole that it´s better to safe your car of dirt inside... :D

that´s not the easiest way to describe it,...I hope it works so far

Ooh thanks finally a reply. :) And a useful one too. I think I have understood what you meant.
  1. remove screw
  2. cut off the hill plastic
  3. heat up plastic and bend inwards
  4. bend metal part inside where the screw normally was
Yes? :cheesy:

Ich weiß leider nicht was ein "filz" ist? Hast du vielleicht 'ne Foto davon oder so? Und was kann ich denn machen mit dem 1. Foto? Auch die gleich machen? Rausschneiden und nach innen "benden"?

Yes, that´s right @sylonien

In my opinion the first picture is at the back end of your rims, right?
If it scratches there, you could only try to heat ist a little bit and bend upwards
If you remove your plastik for a second, you will see a "block" out of some hard material at the topend of your rim space... If you pull this to the front or the back(that it isn´t at the middle) it could be better..give it a try

Filz is something like a cotton, with some sticky tape at the back, if you know what I mean!? ;-)

If this all doesn´t help, you have to screw your car up a little bit

I have almost understood what you meant. Do you mean heat up the edge one (blaue feil) and bend it inwards / upwards.

But I didn't quite understand the one nearer to the centre (red dotted circle). Do I have to cut around that bit and bend the edges inwards with some heat?

Bild

You have to screw it(your Car) up a bit....or you have to remove the whole plastic

Didnt' consider that - but wouldn't all the dirt fly in and screw up, :|

Right, so screwing it up seems to be the best solution ;)

It´s not the best solution to get rid of this plastic....

so it would be better to do it a bit higher...

that must be enough..
