Hallo
Mein name ist Eder. Ich lebe in Brasilien.
Ich habe nicht eine Limousine Polo auf diesem Forum noch nicht gesehen. ( Die Limousine ist hier die häufigste.) Also beschloss ich, meine Fotos hier setzen
So, das ist mein Polo =)
Das Motor: EA-111 1.6, Benzin und Ethanol, 74 Kw

I was born on Bahia, but now i'm living on Brasília.
Actually, it is easier to find a sedan pólo than a hatchback here in Brazil. Is a great car, I really enjoy it.

In Germany it´s the other way round. Here you only find hatchback Polos except Polo 9N2 but I´ve never seen any 9N3 Sedan here before.
Interesting that it drives faster with alcohol.

The 9n3 sedan or 9n4 was never offered or sold in germany. Only in brasilia, russia and i think in nederlands. The new polo is only offered by vw in russia and of course in brasilia where it is build. I hope that i can get one of them one time because it is really rare here.

Ethanol has got a higher octane rating than usual fuel.
100% ethanol has got ~130 ROZ and usual gasoline in Germany only 95-98
Also you need to inject more ethanol to get the same power because ethanol provides less energy per litre than usual gasoline.
And a Compression rate of 12:1 is also higher than in non-ethanol models.
The 1.4l 75/100 HP (BBY, BKY) Engine has got a compression rate of 10.5:1

Yes, it runs faster on ethanol, but it spend more fuel too :/
A nice thing is that you can mix both types of fuel - ethanol and gasoline - any way you want. It works normaly. By the way, the gasoline sold on gas stations, here in Brazil, is mixed with ethanol - 22% of ethanol. This is enforced by law. My polo has never drinked pure gasoline.
Some guys say that the continous use of ethanol is not so good for the engine's healtly. I don't know if that is true, but I usually do alternate between gasoline and ethanol every time I refuel it.

*No, the new Polo 6R is not sold here yet, neither hatch nor sedan. The new Polo Sedan is sold only in Russia and some other countries near Russia, like Belarus. VW said that people in these countries see no grace in hatchbacks. Other VW models, like Jetta and Golf are "up to date" here in Brazil.

And forget everything about the 6r i told in my post before. I have seen an article about the "new polo sedan in brasil" some time ago with a very small image and i thougt it was the 6r because the 6r was new in russia a that time. After your post i looked up and you were right. My bad

Concerning that you are from Brazil, can you please ship me a saveiro? This car is so awesome, there's only one in Germany right now, the owner of an airride company drives it, looks plain awesome.
I like your polo, too. There's another User on here who converted his 9N2 sedan into the 9N4, lower yours like he did, his name is RIE - K 15
But your engine bay is rusty as f***

The Fuel injectors are made of aluminium in gasoline engines, they could suffer from the agressivity of ethanol.
But you drive a flexi fues car with and engine which is build for driving on full ethanol so I think it is just a hoax.
In Germany some people mix E85 (85% ethanol and 15% gasoline) with usual gasoline (maximum 10% of ethanol) sdo they have got effective 50% ethanol in.
Most of them are driving without problems, in my optionnion the panic in regard to ethanol as fuel is bullshit.
My old Polo 9n1 with the 1.4l 55kW engine ran better with 30% of ethanol in than with usual gasoline (maximum 10% ethanol), it was louder when driving at high rpm but in my opinion it has had more torque in the low rev area.
The fuel consuption was higher.

My dad has an old 1994 Saveiro. I learnt to drive on it =) great times!

Yep, I wil slow down my polo and put some 17" wheels on it some day.. just a matter on money.
It would be a really cool car. See that as an example:
And.. yes, if you want it, I could send a Saveiro to you

I think DHL could do that
And its not rusty, but dusty. I think I need to wash it and take new pictures.

The G5 Saveiro is a beautiful car, the good old caddy in modern style. Too bad they don't sell them here..

The 9N Sedan was sold in Germany too, in the late days of the 9N

If I'm right, he transferred the 9N3 front to an 9N sedan
