No worries, the mudflaps have been removed LONG ago and if you look at the last pics the car is low...wheels are sitting equal to the wheelarches! :top:

Parts over here tend to be expensive. Especially parts that are imported aus deutschland.
H&R springs come to 260euro, original TT comps go for about 800euro, ECU remaps about 350euro

Have not been to Europe unfortanetley but I am planning a trip to Wolfsburg very soon! (We met 2 girls from Berlin in SA and showed them the country...when they go back they will show us Germany :D )

As Ruan9n said...parts in SA is very expensive. The VW dealerships (otherwise known as the stealerships) is crazy...120 000km service will set you back 700euro :meschugge: I had my 16" BBS San Marino spare wheel replaced the other day and the rim cost me 500euro.

that sounds great. I hope the girls not only show you the country :top:
If you guys having some time over here, contact us / me, eventually we can arrange a small meeting.

the 120000km service is with all the stuff like timing belt, etc? if it is, that´s in germany the same...f***ing prices.
The San Marino is a very expensive rim, that´s because it is an VW original part.

:haha:

I will definitely do that..

Ja it's the cambelt and waterpump service...crazy prices!

Tel me, what options do you guys have when it comes to a FMIC like the Seat Ibiza Cupra? VW charges us 800euro for the intercooler with all the piping...

I saw a pic on this forum that shows a replica of the Seat FMIC:
