The one you showed on the pictures is from Forge. Costs here in Germany approximately 900-1000 euro's..

The Seat Sport IC (Ibiza Cupra) has the best quality/price. On top of that it's an original part. Here in Germany it can be bought on eBay for approx. 200-300euro, without the piping..

Thanks Mark, as you say the SEAT IC is OEM and that would make it alot easier to fit. Thanks for the info :top:

it is easier too fit, but the seat has another front, so you cannot use all the OEM fixing points for the polo after installing the FMIC ;)
Also you need to cut out a bit of your bumper, but you won´t see it at the outside ;)

The Forge should be pretty easy to fit aswell, because of the modified frontbumper.

The Ibiza IC requires custom piping, it isn't plug and play..

I was under the impression that it uses the same piping? I would go for custom piping as the OEM piping going to the intake looks a bit restrictive anyway..

As far as I know, the Cupra has got larger diameter pipes, so that would be a problem. Off course this can be solved by using adapter pieces/diameter reductions from Samco for example.

I think my Dog-Bone mount (gearbox mount) is finished....I have a knocking sound under acceleration and gearchanges..my LCA bushes are fine but I am replacing it on Friday with SEAT LCA bushes.

Is there a difference between the SEAT dog-bone mount and the OEM VW one or is it exactly the same?

Ok, I replaced the LCA bushes and the gearbox mount but the knocking sound is still there! What could it be? DMF? Other suspension parts?

Perhaps your front stabilizer?

When do you hear it? When driving over a bumpy road?

When changing gears (even when holding in the clutch while the car is moving and changing from 3rd to 4th the whole time) and under hard acceleration (when the engine is rocking)
