GTI Tacho einbauen

Hello, can somebody get me some information..

i bought myself a GTI Tacho and now i want to install it, i know how to put it in my car, but i need some help with the following:

in vag-com u should 'say' the computer it has a new tacho if i'm not wrong.. but where/how to do that?
i dont know the ODO value of the GTI Tacho yet, but if it's very diffrent from my own ODO (102.000km) can i change the value in my GTI tacho? if yes, how/where to do that??
